Bishop Blaylark-Hill’s Leadership Journey
Called to the ministry at a young age, Blaylark-Hill has traveled around the world sharing the gospel and establishing churches throughout the U.S. and Africa (Nigeria & Liberia). The churches act as a focal point for educating, uplifting and empowering others to discover the leader that resides inside and has touched the lives of millions of people as a result.
During her many years of service, Blaylark-Hill has developed programs for nursing homes, prison outreach, youth education and radio ministries that continue to flourish. She challenges and empowers everyone she meets to become a world changer.
Planting People Growing Justice encourages, nurtures and empowers youth leadership on a global scale, especially for girls and women, through an extensive array of projects and initiatives featuring education, training and engagement. PPGJ has been named an American Small Business Champion by SCORE Mentors.
PPGJLI will release a children’s book in the autumn of 2017, “Justice Makes a Difference: The Story of Miss Freedom Fighter, Esquire,” that will be distributed worldwide and showcase the power of female leaders who have impacted society ranging from congresswomen, journalists and civil rights activists to political activists and Nobel laureates.
The honoring of Bishop Dr. Dorothy Blaylark-Hill by the PPGJLI is just one of the ways that our organization is recognizing women of distinction who are empowering youths and adults, are making a positive difference, and transforming the world at large. The group is inspiring girls and women to be forces for change in their own right at local and international levels.
